I’ve been scrolling photos from the past several years. Really went down a rabbit hole, since I was really only looking for a photography session I did at a rug hoooking guild meeting in September. But it gave me the urge to once again work on this blog. Not because anyone is reading it, but because it has served as a scrapbook in the past.
So, I’m just going to try to do a few days of catch up with some photos from 2025. Today, I will start with January of 2025 – during the middle of the second winter here on the Cape that we have spent as full time, fully retired Cape Cod residents!
I was at the Cabin Fever quilting retreat in Southbury, my old “stomping grounds” over MLK weekend. We had snow. We had lots of fun. We got lots of quilting done.

And, back on Cape Cod, Hubby and I were participating in the Frozen Feet Challenge, walking at least a mile a day outdoors, no matter what kind of weather. We had some very cold winter weather here — strong winds, cold temps. And we also did some walking in the snow. Footprints on the rail trail ……..
